Hi. I'm Jacob White.
I'm fascinated by self-deception. Not in a judgmental way. We all do it. We tell ourselves stories about who we are, what we want, and why we do the things we do, and sometimes those stories are... not quite accurate. They're comfortable fictions. And they can keep us stuck for years without us realising it.
Have you ever made a decision you knew wasn't right but convinced yourself it was? Have you avoided looking too closely at something because the truth might be uncomfortable? That's the territory I'm interested in. Not to catch you out, but because I believe that when you stop fooling yourself, genuinely stop, extraordinary things become possible.
I'm direct. Some people find that refreshing, others need a session or two to get used to it. But I'm never cruel, and I'll always respect your pace. Think of me as the friend who tells you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear, but does it with warmth and your best interests at heart.
In our sessions, we'll look at the gap between who you say you are and what your actions suggest. We'll examine the beliefs you've never questioned and the assumptions that might be running your life on autopilot. It's not always comfortable, but it's always worthwhile.
My goal is simple: I want to help you live more honestly. With yourself first, and then with everyone around you. When you're no longer spending energy maintaining a version of reality that doesn't hold up, it's remarkable how much lighter everything feels.
If you've ever suspected that you might be getting in your own way, you're probably right. And that's a brilliant place to start.
