My main focus areas are persistent low moods and the lasting impact of painful past experiences, but honestly, life is messier than neat categories. People who talk to me are usually dealing with a complicated mix. Feeling empty, struggling to sleep, losing concentration, eating too much or too little, withdrawing from things that used to matter. Sometimes everything at once. I understand how overwhelming that can feel, and I'd never try to shrink your experience into a single box.
I'm especially committed to creating a space that feels truly welcoming for people in the LGBTQ+ community. Your identity isn't a side note or something to work around. It's part of who you are, and our conversations will always honour that. I want you to be able to talk openly about anything, knowing you'll be met with acceptance.
In our sessions, we'll explore whatever matters most to you. Self-worth, communication, direction in life, complicated relationships. I blend reflection with practical skill-building so that you walk away from each conversation with something useful, whether that's a fresh perspective, a concrete tool, or just the knowledge that someone is properly in your corner.
I believe deeply that people can grow and shift, even when hope feels distant. Every bit of my approach is built around that belief. Our work will be collaborative. You always have a say in where we go and at what speed.
