I'm Maliyah Sheridan, and I'm drawn to the conversations most people avoid. The ones about feeling empty when you think you should feel grateful. About carrying something painful from your past that still shows up in ways you didn't expect. About waking up and not quite knowing what you're doing any of it for.
My focus is on the darker, heavier territory, deep sadness, painful memories that linger, and the way those things ripple outwards into your relationships, your work, and your sense of who you are. I don't shy away from that. I move towards it, carefully and with real care for what you're going through.
What I've noticed is that people often feel alone with this stuff. They put on a brave face, they get on with things, and underneath it all they feel like they're drowning. If that sounds familiar, I want you to know: you don't have to do that here. Our sessions are for you to be completely honest, without performing strength or positivity you don't feel.
I'm a collaborative person. I want to understand what drives you, what blocks you, and what you'd like your life to look like if you could strip away all the "shoulds." From there, we work together on practical goals. I'll challenge your thinking where it's helpful, and I'll always be upfront about why.
Loneliness, relationship struggles, career pressure, feeling lost. These things are often tangled up together, and I find it useful to look at the whole picture rather than isolating one piece. Growth doesn't happen in a vacuum, and neither does suffering.
I genuinely believe in people's capacity to rebuild and to find purpose again, even after the hardest chapters. If you're looking for someone who will meet you where you are without rushing you forward, that's what I offer.
