I work with people who are dealing with the lingering effects of painful experiences and with those who've developed coping patterns that once helped but now cause more harm than good. Those patterns make sense in context. I'm not here to judge them. I'm here to help you understand them and, when you're ready, to build new ones.
My style is empathetic and steady. I won't push you faster than you're ready to go. But I'll gently keep things moving, because staying in the same place isn't the same as being safe. Real safety comes from understanding yourself well enough to make different choices.
I welcome faith-based perspectives in our sessions if that's important to you. Spirituality can be a powerful source of strength, and I'm comfortable integrating that into our conversations in a way that feels natural rather than forced.
What I offer is consistency, attention, and the kind of support that takes your full experience into account, not just the parts that are easy to talk about. The parts you've been avoiding? Those are usually where the real shifts happen.
